He’s currently the head honcho at JONES IS THIRSTY, where he spreads his doctrine of No-Snobbery Wine Education. Scott’s slightly more serious alter ego runs JONES IS HUNGRY, a media company focused food writing, recipe development and culinary consulting.
In addition to slugging Cuban wine in Stockholm, dining with Dolly Parton and penning the Southern Living Wine Guide and Journal, Scott has, on more than one occasion, chosen the road less traveled. His wife and daughters are not impressed.
In his spare time, Scott can be found running through the Birmingham ‘burbs honing his lactic threshold and metabolic efficiency in preparation for his next marathon.
Scott is a member of the Southern Foodways Alliance and James Beard Foundation Awards judge.
